Udyamsheel Private Limited (UPL), a leading business/banking consulting coompany, is proud to announce its strategic partnership with the National Banking Institute (NBI) to undertake comprehensive research on the “State of the Banking Industry in Nepal.” The agreement was formalized through a Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed on June 16, 2024.

The primary focus of the research is to provide an in-depth analysis of the banking sector in Nepal, exploring key areas such as the regulatory framework, market structure, financial performance, technological advancements, and emerging trends. This project aims to support industry stakeholders in understanding the dynamic shifts in the banking landscape and offer actionable recommendations for future growth and development.

The research will be led by a team of distinguished experts, including Prof. Dr. Rudra Prasad Upadhayaya and Mr. Nara Bahadur Thapa, alongside other key researchers. The project will utilize various methodologies, including desk studies, key informant interviews (KIIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs) with industry leaders and stakeholders.
